Consistency throughout the entire coil is the foundation of high-speed stamping, continuous roll forming, and deep drawing. At Jindal Metals & Alloys Ltd, we specialize in cold-rolled precision stainless steel coils and ultra-thin foils engineered to eliminate line downtime, tool wear, and gauge variation.
Founded in 1984 and backed by over six decades of the Jindal family’s metallurgical legacy, our manufacturing complex in Rohad (Bahadurgarh, Haryana) houses state-of-the-art 20-Hi Sendzimir-type cluster mills and 6-Hi reversing cold rolling lines. We produce precision stainless steel coils ranging from 0.03 mm to 3.0 mm in thickness, delivering exceptional shape flatness, tight crown control, and repeatable metallurgical tempers.
20-Hi Precision Cluster Rolling: Equipped with automatic gauge control (AGC) and shiftable intermediate rolls (IMR) to minimize edge drop and maintain uniform cross-sectional thickness.
Controlled-Atmosphere Bright Annealing: 100% inert atmosphere continuous annealing restores elongation and ductility while preventing surface oxidation, ensuring a clean, mirror-bright (BA) finish.
Tension Leveling & Flatness Control: Advanced 12-Hi tension levelers eliminate coil set, camber, and wavy edges, delivering dead-flat strip feeding for automated punch presses.
High-Purity Degreasing: In-line ultrasonic degreasing lines strip away residual rolling oils to guarantee pristine surface bonding for subsequent coating, welding, or stamping.
Certified Quality Assurance: Fully compliant with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018 standards, with full material test certificate (MTC) traceability.

Our cold-rolled stainless steel coils are custom-engineered for sectors where component failure is not an option:
Automotive & Exhaust: Catalytic converter honeycombs, exhaust flexi-bellows, metal head gaskets, hose clamps, and airbag inflator parts.
Electronics & Telecommunications: EMI/RFI shielding cans, mobile battery tabs, connector springs, lead frames, and micro-switch components.
Medical & Surgical: Hypodermic needle tubing, diagnostic sensor diaphragms, surgical tool components, and sterilizer parts.
Renewable Energy & EV: Fuel cell bipolar plates, thermal insulation heat shields, and battery pack busbars.
Industrial & HVAC: Welded corrugated bellows, plate-and-frame heat exchanger plates, and chemical rupture discs.
Cold-rolled precision coils require stringent transit protection. At Jindal Metals, every coil is packaged to prevent surface scratching, mechanical edge damage, and atmospheric oxidation:
Wrapped in VCI (Vapor Corrosion Inhibitor) paper and heavy-duty poly-stretch film.
Fitted with metal inner/outer corner angle protectors and radial strapping.
Mounted securely on treated, fumigated wooden pallets or in ocean-worthy wooden boxes for both domestic transit and sea freight container shipping.
Commercial-grade coils typically carry wider thickness variations (±5% to 10%) and slight crown defects. Precision coils rolled on our 20-Hi Sendzimir mills achieve tight micron tolerances (down to ±0.002 mm) and consistent temper across the entire coil length, preventing press jamming and tool wear during automated forming.
Yes. We operate high-speed precision slitting lines capable of narrow widths down to 3.5 mm, as well as bobbin-type oscillated (traverse) winding systems. Oscillated coils allow much longer continuous run-times on your stamping presses by reducing coil changeover intervals.
For spring and flexural applications, cold-rolled AISI 301 and AISI 304 (Full Hard / Extra Hard tempers) provide high tensile and yield strength, offering fatigue resistance and recovery after cyclical deflection.
